Dong a great promise for Man Utd - Gill
China's young football talent Dong Fangzhuo is a player of great promise, David Gill, Chief Executive of Manchester United, said Thursday.

The club official told a press conference that Dong has broken into the Man Utd's first team squad after a number of appearances for the reserves since his arrival in January.

The 21-year-old was put into the starting line-up of the club when they tied with AC Milan in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

The English Premier League leaders are playing the Chinese Super League club Shenzhen here on July 23 and Dong will hopefully show up on the pitch, the official also said.

Aces including Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs are to be covered in the Asia Tour team, said Gill.

The Red Devils are currently running for three domestic and European Major trophies.

The Shenzhen team ranked 11th in the last season of the Chinese Super League.

Man Utd's tie with Shenzhen will be the third stop of its summer Asian Tour, which will start in Tokyo on July 17

        It has been either my good or evil lot to have my roving passion gratified .I have wandered throught different place s,and witnessed many of the shifting scences of life .I can not say that I have studied them with the eyes of a phlosopher ,but rather with the sauntering   gaze with which humble lovers of the pictursque stroll from the window of one print shop to another ,caught sometimes by the diatortions of caricature ,and sometimes by   the loveliness of landscape .A s it is the fasion for modern tourists to   travel pen in hand and bring home their portfolios filled with sketches ,I am dis posed to get up a few for the entertainment of myself. When ,however,I look over the hints and memorandums I have takn down for my purpose ,my heart almost failed me at finding how my idle humor has led me aside from the great objects studied by every regulartraveler who would   make a book , I fear I shall give equal disppointment   with an unlucky landscape painter ,who had travelled on the paradise but following the bent of his vagrant inclination, had sketched in nooks and corners and byplace .the book was accordingly crowed with cottages and landscape   and obscure ruins ,but it had negelected to painted in mind.
