Dear mayor
亲爱的市长先生，
    First I'd like to thank you for your time to read my letter because you are busty. As a member of our beautiful hometown,I’d like to express my opinion about our city’s transportation conditions.
首先，非常感谢您能抽出宝贵时间来浏览我的信件，作为美丽的城市一员，我很高兴能为我们的城市发展出谋划策。
     Since our city is one of the most rapid development cities in our province even in the whole country, it can’t be denied that our country has achieved great success in recent years .But the fact is the city's conditions of road haven't been improved with the development of our city. So I am now writing to you to advise you to enlarge the investment in the field of our transportation conditions.
我们市是全省乃至全国重要的快速发展城市之一，同样不可否认近些年来，我们国家近些年来的快速发展。但是目前呈现在我们面前的事实是城市道路改造远远无法跟上城市化的快速发展。所以在此，我写此封信来建议您能够重视我们在交通领域的投资。
     There is an old saying that if you want to be rich ,you should firstly build roads(Joozone Note:要想富，先修路，在写作中). The sentence has been proved by developed countries again and again. So If our city want to have everlasting development especially in the field of economy and technology, we should pay more attention to our environment of transportation.
俗话说，要想富，先修路。这样的案例(情景)在发达国家屡见不鲜。所以如果我们的城市希望发展，尤其是在经济和科技方面要得到发展，我们就应该更多的关注我们的基础建设。
