目标： 作文中如何运用复合句？
1. 英语中的六大从句：主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语从句、定语从句、状语从句
2. 使用六大从句的常见错误：
1. 以为逗号可以代替连词：
我妈妈很忙， 我得帮帮她。
My mother was very busy , I had to help her .
我叔叔从美国回来了， 我非常高兴。
My uncle has come back from America , I’m very happy .
2.错把副词介词当连词。
张华很忙，但他经常帮助我们。
Zhang Hua is very busy , however, he often helps us.
随着时间的推移，我们的英语水平越来越高了。
With time goes by , our English is better and better .
3. 适宜使用复合句的两种情况。
1. 简单句较多时，换用复合句。
杰克来自加拿大，他在我们的学校已经学习了3年，它不仅经常帮助我们学英语，而且中文也将得很不错。
一般表达：Jack is from Canada . He has studied in our school for three years . He often helps us learn English . He speaks Chinese very well .

2． 连接上下文时时用复合句：用复合句是连接上下文的一个好办法。恰当的使用复合句不仅提高了文章表达上的档次，而且使上下文结构紧密，意思连贯，读起来一气呵成。
史密斯先生在会议上讲了许多有关学习英语的方法。他的话对我们帮助很大。我们决定课堂内外多讲英语，因为英语口语在交际中太重要了。
一般表达：At the meeting Mr Smith said a lot on how to learn English . His words gave us a lot of help . We’ve decided to speak more English in and out of class . Spoken English is very important in communication .
较好的表达：
李东在乡下和奶奶住料很长一段时间。在奶奶的帮助下，他学会了做家务。现在，李东和父母住在一起，父母不在家时， 他能自己洗衣服、做晚饭吃。
一般表达：Li Dong lived in the country for ages . With the help of his grandmother , he learned how to do housework . He is now living with his parents . Sometimes his parents are not at home . He can wash clothes and cook supper himself.
较好表达：

1. 李东是一个很不错的中学生。他学习成绩很好，尤其是数学和英语。他乐于助人，从不和他人争吵。但是，他不怎末喜欢体育锻炼，出料体育课之外，很少能在运动场上见到他的人影儿。不过，他的象棋倒是下得特棒。
一般表达
Li Dong is a good middle school student. He is good at his lessons . He is very good at maths and English . He often helps others . He seldom quarrels with others . But he doesn’t like sports . He has to have a PE class . We seldom see him on the playground . But he is very good at chess.

一般表达： At five yesterday afternoon, on our way home , Li Ming and I saw a girl was crying by the road . We asked her why she was crying there. She said that she lost her way home . She also said that her home was nearly . Hearing this , we decided to help her.
