The desk is the place at which one can read and write. But in the classrooms of our campus, we can often read something on the surface of the desks, because someone writes directly on it.
In nly opinion, scribbling on the desk is vandalism, even though some scribbles are regarded as artistic or literary works by a few. Desks at the college are public property. Students have no right to express personal feelings by scribbling on them. In fact, most of the marks left there are meaningless and very ugly, and some are engraved by knives and the like that the damage is hard to remove.
A college with good academic atmosphere should not allow such behavior and any student with morality will feel ashamed of that. So stop scribbling on the desks from now on. Let our campus remain clean and beautiful by our joint efforts.
