  how to slove the problem of heavy traffic

With population increasing,the traffic in cities becomes heavier and heavier.Urban people have trouble in going to work or back home and even might be involved in an accident.

To slove the problem,there might be two solutions.First，lay down more roads.by doing so,we can lower the degree of crowdedness in the streets and speed up the flow of traffic.But it will occupt too much land.Second,open up more buslines.This solution will contribute to reducing the number of bicycles and cars,for more people will take buses instead of riding bicycles and driving cars.Unfortunately,it also has a shortcoming:it is inconvenient for those who live and work far away from bus routes.

In fact,we should adopt these two solutions together because either has its advantages and disadvantages as above.Only in this way, may we give full play to their strong points and avoid their weak ones.

    随着人口的增加，城市交通问题变得越来越严重。市民们在上班和回家的路上有相当大的麻烦，甚至可能会发生车祸。

    目前对于这一问题的解决方法有以下两种：第一，建造更多的道路。这样可以降低道路的拥堵率以提高车流量。但这样会占用很大的空间。第二，开通更多的公共交通线路。这样更多的人选择乘坐公共汽车而不是骑自行车或开小汽车，从而减少自行车和小汽车的数量。毫无疑问，这种方式同样有它的缺点：对于那些离公交站比较远的人来说会很不方便。

    事实上，每一种方法都有利有弊，我们应当同时采取两种措施。只有这样，才能扬其长避其短，达到最好的效果。
