There is a village called Bosia with moutains around it. Many years ago great trees covered the mountains for miles around. Unfortunately in 1992, a forest fire broke out. Firemen had been fighting the forest fire for nearly three weeks before it was put out. After the fire there were few trees left. The whole area almost became a desert. When it rained heavily, the rain not only washed away the soil but caused serious floods as well. The villagers there know how important the forest can be. Shortly after the fire the villagers there began to plant trees. In many places young trees have been planted．New forest begins to appear again.
